Concrete Color Swatches: Integral Concrete Coloring
One way for you to distinguish your home from a cookie-cutter appearance, is to dye your concrete with a process known as integral concrete coloring. Integral concrete coloring infuses concrete with long-lasting, fade-resistant color. Our concrete contractors at MC Concrete often use this coloring medium to produce a backdrop for contrasting accent or antiquing colors, such as pigmented release agents, stains and/or dyes. This layering of color in the concrete produces a multi-tonal appearance of natural stone.
With integrally colored concrete, the color extends throughout the entire concrete slab. Even if surface abrasion occurs, the color will not wear away. The pigments in integral coloring admixtures also are chemically stable and won't fade over time from exposure to the weather or ultraviolet light.
